Bharat Sevashram Sangha : A Movement
The Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a well known sociocultural and philanthropic organisation of international activities ,having its centres in various parts of India as well as in Bangladesh , West Indies, South America, Canada , U.S.A , U.K & Fiji. The Sangha has got varied activities of public welfare including humanitarian work for the benefit of the people in distress, irrespective of caste, creed and complexion and runs institutions for the physical, mental, moral and spiritual growth of the masses. The Sangha’s programme of social welfare activities includes relief work during the time of need, the reformation of the holy places of pilgrimage, amelioration of backward classes, social upliftment of aboriginals, leprosy welfare & hospital, spreading of primary and secondary education, maintaining of poor students’ home, religious and cultural propagation in India and abroad.
